Group Spam being curbed

Apart from the immediate concern, spam, another issue is database load at Linden Lab as the amount of IMs is enourmous. With 1.19.0 Linden Lab now wants to change that behaviour. With this release you won’t be participating in any group IM chat from that start. You actively have to switch the group chat on for every group you want to be chatting in.

I came across this spam while looking for park lands... it was horrifying. I saw it from K's away. It was sending horrid spam images everywhere across the whole sim. Very bad manners... :(
